California Air Resource Board: “A New Era of Emissions Testing Labs”

Upon completion in 2021, the California Air Resources Board’s new southern California headquarters will be the largest and most advanced regulatory vehicle emissions testing and research facility in the world. It will also be the world’s first true zero net energy facility of its type. Since 1967, CARB has influenced global standards for effective air and climate programs through the State of California’s regulatory actions. The new facilities will improve the performance and efficiency of CARB operations, reduce energy and water consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, and provide a healthy and productive workplace.
