UW Hospital to test convalescent plasma treatment of COVID-19 patients.
Early next week, UW Hospital will transfuse antibodies from the plasma of people who fought off COVID-19 into patients battling the coronavirus. The treatment program will operate through a Food and Drug Administration-approved clinical trial started at Johns Hopkins University roughly one month ago.
