Successful trial for Gilead coronavirus drug.
A majority of patients hospitalized with severe coronavirus symptom showed clinical improvements following compassionate use trial treatment with Gilead Sciences’ antiviral drug remdesivir. Results were published on April 10 in the New England Journal of Medicine.
