Collins Aerospace Celebrates Grand Opening of North Wind Tunnel
Team members from AEI Madison were thrilled to attend the recent ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the highly anticipated grand opening of Collins Aerospace’s North Wind Tunnel facility in Rockford, Illinois.
Designed to advance the company’s signature Ram Air Turbine product — innovative aircraft technology that deploys in the event of critical power loss — the $18 million project expands the company’s overall testing capabilities while establishing a state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility featuring the latest aerospace technology and equipment.
