Giving Tuesday is a Global Day of Generosity dedicated to uplifting communities and supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference. Each year, it inspires people to come together, share resources, and strengthen causes that matter.
This Giving Tuesday, AEI continues its longstanding support of Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin to help ensure families across our region have access to nutritious, reliable food. Hunger affects nearly 147,000 of our neighbors in southwestern Wisconsin, and together we can make a meaningful difference.
Join AEI in Supporting Local Families
From Monday, November 10, through Monday, December 8, AEI Madison is hosting a combined fundraising and food collection effort as part of the WMTV Share Your Holidays (SYH) campaign, benefiting the Second Harvest. Each month, more than 55,000 visits are made to food pantries, mobile pantries, and school markets in the area. Your participation helps keep these vital resources available for the families who rely on them.
Ways to Contribute
Make a Monetary Donation: Every contribution helps move us closer to a hunger-free community. A gift of $20 provides five bags of groceries to a family right here in southwestern Wisconsin. These donations play an essential role in Second Harvest’s ability to distribute high-quality food, 64% of which last year included fresh produce, dairy, protein, and other nutritious staples.
Give Shelf-Stable Foods: Locate a food donation barrel near you and donate shelf-stable foods. Items such as canned vegetables, fruit, grains, and proteins help ensure households have the ingredients they need to prepare nourishing meals.
