Maintaining environmental safety was important before a pandemic, but even moreso during, and after a pandemic. It's crucial to adapt existing technology to help individuals, and companies, maintain social distancing and provide appropriate sanitation.
Particular technology may have been installed for a specific reason, but often, that same technology can revise it's purpose retroactively. Technology can be used to display important data on mobile devices such as occupancy of elevators, desks, restrooms, and routes around the office. This flexibility in intelligent building design and IoT systems allows for safer employee behavior and facility cleanliness.
