Blythe Vogt

Principal

It turns out my engineering degrees were not a path but a launch pad. Technical prowess will always be the standard of excellence in engineering, but the people in this profession represent the basis for a collaborative future in our industry.”

From the perspective of leading teams on complex projects, I discovered that I could use my expertise to connect more broadly with clients and partners. To shape projects initially, clients often need to talk through approaches to refine and build on project ideas. Along with experts throughout AEI, we work together to help shape those concepts.

Blythe Vogt is the managing principal of AEI's Denver office. She assesses and assembles project teams and advises owners on capital project options in the rapidly developing Colorado market. A licensed engineer, she oversees multi-market technical teams of project managers, planners, engineers, designers, and sustainable analysts.

Blythe joined AEI upon graduation from Kansas State University, quickly advancing from engineer to project manager and distinguishing herself on complex projects for clients such as Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Houston Methodist, the University of Chicago, and Bayer (an R&D Magazine Lab of the Year winner). Formerly, she served as the national business development director for science and technology. Today, as AEI Denver's Science and Technology Market Leader, Blythe brings over 20 years of planning, project management, and mechanical design expertise to our higher education, national laboratory, industrial test, and biotech clients.
