Since 1996, Elaine Moal has been an integral contributor to the AEC industry, collaborating with top-tier professionals to push boundaries and solve complex challenges. Her passion lies in working alongside talented, innovative, and creative teams who see limitless possibilities in shaping the built environment.
A central element of Elaine’s approach is client empathy—deeply understanding client experiences to fully grasp their needs. This client-focused strategy lays the groundwork for successful outcomes, a key advantage in her role as AEI San Francisco’s Director of Business Development.
Elaine has developed strong networks across diverse market sectors throughout her career, including affordable housing, automotive manufacturing, building trades, civic, commercial, fitness, hospitality, healthcare, and higher education. Her involvement in industry events and associations is vital for elevating brand recognition and staying connected with the markets she supports. Elaine actively participates in organizations such as the Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP), Biocom California, Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), Healthcare Project Delivery Conference (HPDC), International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL), International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), and Lean Construction Institute (LCI).
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Elaine grew up in an expatriate family, living in the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Singapore. She is a proud St. Mary’s College Gael. Outside work, Elaine enjoys adventure-filled activities like ATV riding in sand dunes, axe-throwing, and whitewater rafting with her husband and son.
