James Betts is the Director of Business Development – Mission Critical, where he leads growth efforts in the mission-critical and data center markets. With more than 20 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, James works closely with clients, developers, and internal teams to help bring complex infrastructure projects from concept to reality with speed, confidence, and clarity. A proven sales engineer, James brings a practical, solutions-driven mindset to every engagement.
He focuses on understanding client priorities, translating technical requirements into actionable strategies, and providing value-added insight throughout the project lifecycle. His approach is grounded in transparency, trust, and long-term relationship building. Known for his entrepreneurial spirit, he partners with project teams to anticipate risks, navigate constraints, and identify realistic solutions that support performance, reliability, and scalability. James is motivated by helping clients realize resilient, high-performing facilities that meet operational demands in real-world conditions. Outside of work, he enjoys grilling and smoking meats and spending quality time with his family and friends.
