With over 25 years of experience in strategic planning, client relations, and market expansion, Joann Petillo is a seasoned business development leader known for fostering growth and collaboration. As Director of Business Development for AEI’s Baltimore office, she is responsible for strengthening client relationships and advancing the firm’s presence in the energy and utilities market. With a strong understanding of the built environment, Joann works closely with owners, architects, engineers, and industry partners to position AEI as a trusted advisor for complex projects.
Her relationship-building and strategic planning expertise have positioned her as a reliable industry leader. A graduate of Leadership Maryland’s Class of 2019, Joann previously served as President of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, Maryland Chapter, and is currently President-Elect of the Association of Medical Facility Professionals, DC/Baltimore Chapter. She is passionate about mentorship and industry engagement.
In her personal life, Joann enjoys reading and recently discovered a love for podcasts, constantly seeking fresh perspectives and insights. She stays active through walking and golf, appreciating both as opportunities to unwind and connect with others.
