Scott Spangenberg

Scott Spangenberg has over 30 years of diverse project experience in higher education, healthcare, research, office, central utility, and government facilities. In addition, he has extensive project management and design experience in comprehensive HVAC system design, performance and direction of mechanical design, feasibility studies, construction specification and document production, and on-site inspections. As project director, he is responsible for project management, design oversight, quality assurance, and client interaction within the mechanical, electrical, and piping/plumbing studio of AEI's Rockville office.

With a depth of expertise in planning and designing a variety of science and lab renovations, he has led over six million square feet of complex renovation projects, many in higher education settings, such as the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Maryland, George Washington University, and the College of William & Mary.
