Announcing New 2021 Principals
Affiliated Engineers, Inc. has added three new principals to the firm, Marko Becir, Rick Flock, and Jeremy Jones; each selected based on exceptional performance in their markets, excellence in leadership capabilities, and ongoing commitment to client relationships and the growth of the firm. AEI strives to recognize and empower its leaders, cultivating an environment where they can thrive, and embrace success.
LA office Managing Director, Marko Becir, joined AEI in February 2015. Graduating from the University of Belgrade School of Mechanical Engineering, he started his career in consulting engineering. He continues to serve the science and technology, healthcare, and higher education markets with clients such as UCLA, USC, and Cedar Sinai.
Rick Flock, PE, joined AEI in 1992 after graduating from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a BS in Architectural Engineering. He provides expertise for complex projects for research, pharmaceutical/biotechnology, and industrial/manufacturing projects, including clients such as Bayer, Exact Sciences, and Northwestern University.
Jeremy Jones, PE, EDAC, LEED® AP, graduated from Texas A&M University, beginning his career with a focus on healthcare design. Since joining AEI in 2010 as a National Healthcare Market leader, he continues to deepen his knowledge for the healthcare market, serving major clients such as Houston Methodist, Duke Health, and Cone Health. His expertise includes IPD contracting and design approaches, HVAC technology, and MEP trends in healthcare.
